Introduction Events Committee Contacts Institutional Members
HELOA South West currently has 43 members from 15 Higher Education Institutions. Partners from the University of Glamorgan, Connexions and an Independent Education Consultant also attend our meetings and contribute significantly to the work of the region.
Our primary aim is to promote entry to Higher Education, share good practice amongst members and provide high quality information, guidance and training. Most members work in Universities across a range of roles including widening participation, student recruitment, marketing, publications, student services and admissions; working closely with School and College staff and students across the region and nationally. HELOA SW members are often asked to speak at conferences according to their varying areas of expertise.
We encourage School and College staff to contact members to discuss how we may be able support your event.
The South West region runs a number of events to support delivery of information to prospective students, teaching and careers staff. These include UCAS Conventions and Higher Education Advisers Days. Members also support regional Schools and Colleges in organising and attending their events.
