HELOA Groups
Training, development and support for HELOA members is also provided at a local level through the activities of HELOA groups. These opportunities may include:
Training provided through HELOA group meetings (at least three per year)
Specific training events organised through HELOA groups
'Buddy' schemes to support new members
HELOA group local mailbases to facilitate communication
Networking events for education liaison staff
Advice and support from colleagues
Opportunities to volunteer and get involved in HELOA activities
