UK Beginners' Conference
This annual conference offers new HELOA members an ideal introduction to the world of higher education liaison. The event is usually held in September and repeated in December, and session topics include;
Sessions are led by experienced education liaison professionals and offer an opportunity to gain an insight into a career in education liaison as well as some of the issues experienced by staff working in this sector
This year both northern and southern conferences included an overnight stay and a three course dinner, this allowed delegates to really get to know their colleagues from other institutions, and form useful networks.
