Scotland:
With a diverse mix of 16 member institutions there really is something for everyone in Scotland, no matter what course you are interested in. There are a range of campus-based, specialist, ancient and modern institutions across the width and breadth of the country with thriving cities, unspoilt countryside and a vibrant arts and culture scene to be found within easy distance of every place of study. The key aspects of Scottish higher education are flexibility and choice – many subjects can be studied without previous school qualifications; students can often change the nature of their degree as they progress through a course, and advanced entry to into second year of a degree is also possible.
There are other Higher Education Institutions located in Scotland who are not listed here as they are not HELOA members. For full details of all HE Providers in the region please see the UCAS website.
