Institutional Membership
Before any individual can become a member of HELOA, institutional membership must be held by the institution by which they are employed, for which a subscription is paid. Currently there are over 140 Institutional Members of HELOA.
The annual subscription for Institutional Membership for 2010 is a graduated fee according to institutional size as defined by number of students (FTE), as follows:
To be eligible for Institutional Membership of HELOA at least 40% of courses offered by the institution must be at degree level or above. If an institution does not fulfil this criteria, it may be eligible for Associate Membership. The institution must also be a member of one of the UK HE sector's recognised parent bodies.
Institutional Membership allows one member of the institution to hold Corporate Membership status. Corporate Members hold voting rights at the AGM and HELOA group meetings. Any additional staff members from a HELOA institution may apply for Ordinary Membership.
To apply for Institutional Membership, please complete the Corporate Membership form and send this to the HELOA Office. Membership queries should also be addressed to the HELOA Office.
